Day 1 – Vineyard at Florence/Texas Rangers Heritage Center/Western Edge Cellars

Robust wines, a great lunch and even better company await us at our first stop, The Vineyard at Florence. Filled with rich history, the world-class Texas Rangers Heritage Center showcases and preserves the legend and lore of the Texas Rangers, thus creating a living part of the present. Located in the center of downtown Fredericksburg, we’ll celebrate genuine Texas food accompanied by live Texas music at Western Edge Cellars.

(L,D) Overnight: Fredericksburg, TX

Day 2 – National Museum of the Pacific War/LBJ Library & Museum

Discover the human story of WWII in the Pacific in more than 55,000 square feet of exhibit space spread over three galleries located on six acres in the heart of Fredericksburg, Texas. The National Museum of the Pacific War is the only museum in the continental U.S. solely dedicated to telling the story of WWII in the Pacific. Located on a 30-acre site on The University of Texas at Austin campus, the LBJ Presidential Library & Museum is one of 14 presidential libraries administered by the National Archives and Records Administration. At the library, visitors will experience the life and times of Lyndon B. Johnson, one of our nation’s most fascinating presidents, and the era of his administration—the turbulent 1960s.

(B,A) Overnight: Austin, TX

Days 3 & 4 – Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center/Bob Bullock Museum/Magnolia Market

Featuring more than 900 species of native plants, The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, is the most prestigious botanical garden and arboretum in the state. Located a few blocks north of the Texas State Capitol, the Bob Bullock Museum is dedicated to interpreting the continually unfolding “Story of Texas.”  Before heading home, we’ll make our way through Waco and West, with stops at the Magnolia Market, and the infamous Little Czech Stop Bakery.
